Flower Arranging Workshop: Priscilla Hunt & Lynette Gumm
Friday 18 March: 6-8pm
Station Square, Newmarket Railway Station
The Suburban Floral Association invite you to a special workshop as part of their Letting Space project Shopfront in Station Square, Newmarket.
Please bring found and foraged flowers, weeds and plant material from gardens, or even the side of the road. Lynette and Priscilla will show us how to make a bouquet and/or a container arrangement from whatever we collectively bring. You will be able to take home the arrangement at the end of the evening. Vases and low containers will be supplied for the workshop, but each participant will need to bring their own secateurs and/or sharp scissors. If you want to take home your arrangement in one of your own low containers or a particular vase, bring that with you too.
Given Newmarket Station is on Shopfront's doorstep, Letting Space and the Association are encouraging the public to take the train to Station Square for Shopfront events. Go to www.maxx.co.nz for train times.
